Need New Wall Art? Check These Places!

 In Blog

When was the last time you changed up the art on your walls? Has it been the same since…forever? Maybe it’s time to switch things up.

It’s easy to overlook your wall art when it comes time to buy things for your apartment. But, changing out your wall art is an easy way to spruce up your place seasonally. While you think that art might be expensive, there are some great online sites where you can find all sorts of great deals. Here’s a list of some of the best sites to check out when you need new decor for your walls.

Wayfair

Wayfair has just about everything you could want for your home – which makes it a great place for one-stop shopping. When you’re looking for wall decor – they have a ton of it. You’ll find art, tapestries, decals, mirrors and more here – in a wide variety of styles. The prices are great, and they offer free shipping on purchases over $49.

Overstock

Don’t let the name of this website stop you from shopping there. This is not a site dedicated to items that companies bought too much of and now need to get rid of. Overstock is very similar to Wayfair – it has everything for your home. Be sure to check out the “Metal Art” section for some unique pieces.

Zulily

Zulily is a daily deal site – meaning each day they send you an email and share what’s available. After a few days (or even several hours) the deals are gone. Zulily has deals on everything from clothes to shoes to housewares to art and wall decor. You have to be patient when ordering from Zulily as it can take 2-4 weeks for your items to arrive, but if you’re not in a rush – this is a great site to visit.

Etsy

Etsy bills itself as “an e-commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items and supplies, as well as unique factory-manufactured items.” It’s the handmade items that really make this site stand out. Search under “Art and Collectibles” to see what artists from around the globe are creating. There are some really unique things. While it may not be the least expensive site to shop at, you’ll love the variety.

Minted

Minted prides itself that everything on their website is created by an independent artist so that you are receiving something unique and original. The art section is quite impressive. Check out the murals. Some are sure to make a dramatic statement in your space.

Society6

Society6 has it all, but the art and wall decor section are outstanding. They carry a diverse selection of art – so there’s bound to be something that will fit with your decor. Be sure to take a look at their posters which can be easily framed to create great art.

Artfinder

The name says it all – a site dedicated to art. The art here is more expensive, but they have some incredible pieces. Check out the sale section and see what’s available. Remember: You get to pick out your frame and there are free returns on all orders if you find out you don’t like it in your space.

The artist Degas said, “Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.” What do you look for when buying art? Do you have a style of art that you love? Or, are your tastes more eclectic? Whatever you choose, display it proudly for you and others to see in your home.
