If you’d like to get out on the water, you can go kiteboarding or windsurfing, or even rent a boat or jet ski. Kayaks, paddle boats, stand-up paddleboards, and sailboats are also available to rent if that’s where your interests lie.
If you want to stay on land, bikes are available to rent and you can find several paths to explore. You could also go golfing at the 12-hole municipal course located in Ocean City.

If you drive just about two hours, you will arrive in Hershey, Pennsylvania – the land of all things chocolate!
With lots of family-friendly attractions, Hershey is a great place to bring kids. You can head to Hersheypark where you can spend the entire day riding roller coasters, and all of the other cool rides this amusement park has to offer. In the heat of summer, they also have a great waterpark where you can cool down.
Hershey’s also offers a free chocolate-making tour for those who want to learn how the cocoa beans become the world-famous Hershey’s chocolate bars.
If chocolate is not your thing, Hershey is home to lots of great shopping and several breweries, along with a few museums and a great golf course.
Dover, DE
All you need is 90 minutes to get yourself to Dover, Delaware for a day of exploring.
